While in a down, lure head down with a treat, then shape from there and add "head down" command. I'm gonna try it in a little bit and hopefully will have some success and post a video.

And here's number 3, working for a little longer duration. I had him sit to see if he really got it after getting up and laying back down. The roll over is, I think, a little bit of a stress reaction? Going back to something he knows and giving his brain a break. Head down 3 - YouTube

What a good boy!

For head down, I taught Tali down as in lie down....and "Are you sad?" Which means put your head down too. My hand sign is one hand up, (down), then the same hand up again (kind of down down). It's very sweet.

So we are a bit rusty. But it kind of cracks me up when he starts combining tricks or just throwing things out there to get a treat, lol. Like "you said sing a song? how about sit pretty AND sing a song, how ya like me now!?Tricks - YouTube

Hanks a great demo dog. A natural even, so there a trick right there. Not to many dogs I know can break a double pane glass window with their face and suffer minimal injuries. lol My clickers are taking forever to get here. Checked tracking and it says estimated delivery between Dec 3-21. They must be from china... Karen Pryor clicker 5 pack off amazon. Saw mixed reviews but w/e as long as they click if/when they get here. Amazon.com : Karen Pryor i-Click Clicker 5 Pack : KPCT : Pet Training Clickers : Pet Supplies

I love this timing of this thread. I was just telling my myself that I want to expand Zeek's obedience skills (not really tricks). I would like to teach him to heel left and heel right and for a "trick" we'll work on Touch. Thank Hector for the inspiration. :)
