Very interesting. It is hard for me to see the lives they live over there but I know that it is all that they ever know and it is the culture. It was really cool to hear the history and these dogs are just absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't actually have a problem with most of the living conditions I saw in that. Yes, some of the dogs were shown on short chains, but those were at the research place and it doesn't look like thats where they spend the majority of their time. The pens looked quite big and well cared for. (the guy allowing his kid to pester the dog annoyed me more)

"the scientific profile of the breed remains a mystery"
I'll say lol. I sent in Apollo's DNA for a coat color analisys (most out of curiosity, just to see what he carried), and BOTH UCDavis and Vetgen (the two big companies in the US for that) are confused by his A-locus results, and Vetgen tells me he's not the first TM they've had this problem with, there's a genetic line in the TMs that carries a coat color they can't ID yet, even though it LOOKS like the standard fawn(gold)-sable dog!

The kid bit bugged me to! The kennels at the research facility looked good, I agree, very clean. The part where it looked like one of the dogs almost hung himself got my back up a bit though. The dogs looked amazing to me, as they should be or at least how I see a TM.

MM, that was beautiful thanks for sharing. I'm like Ruth I'm not bothered by their conditions either these dogs look well taken care of happy, and looks like they enjoy their work. Very majestic and beautiful dogs.

MM, yah, I wish they'd either shown what happened that the dog got stuck, or just not shown it. I think they were trying to show how much the guy cares, but yah, it does make me wonder how the dog got stuck like that....on the other hand these dogs can do the damndest things....
