Red Star Kennel...is anyone familiar with them?

I'd been away from boards and discussion
groups for years until I stumbled across this one and a few others. I frequently perused
Red Star's website. For months I've been
visiting their site occasionally and was disappointed that there aren't any new PC
breedings. If memory serves me correctly
Alex and his wife also bred German Shepards. Now I see they
are breeding Poodles (give me a break) and Belgian Malinois. What gives here?

I've not seen them around much in recent years. I used to talk with them on banter and some of the other working chat rooms. They used to have some bad ass working presas! No joke dogs and they new what they were doing. I don't know now

Thanks Oak Hill Farm,

They did have some bad ass working class Presa's. I always thought I might get my next Presa
from there, oh well. When I obtained my first Presa the standard would allow up to 40% white on the
coat, in areas like the chest, stomach, paws, and neck. There shouldn't be any on the face. Now they've
lowered the allowable amount of white to 20%, but I've seen much more white throughout the body...I
highly suspect mixed breeding.

and knew not new. 'D'oh I type faster than my brain thinks :)

The trainer I apprentice with has a pretty large circle of dog people, I'll ask him about them next week. I haven't seen them active as much anywhere that I remember. When I was doing research before deciding on my corso in 2004 they almost had me sold on a presa. It was a hard toss up for me at that time.
