Raw spleen

Does raw spleen have an odor? Just bought some and it stinks! It's not like a rotting smell but phew. I just want to make sure it should smell nasty. LOL

I would rather handle tripe any day!

Never handled spleen but tripe is nauseating for me....Thor says otherwise!

Oh yea, it stinks. Beef is worse than pork, don't know which one you have the honor of serving I don't know if it's worse than tripe though?

I'd much rather deal with tripe. Oh man, just nasty for me at least. Glad to know I don't have to throw away 30 pounds of it but not happy I'm going to have to put it up.

Thor is like my guys, tripe is crack.
