Raw feeders give your voice

Raw is the way to go. I didn't ask my Vet; I told him: No more commercial dog food, commercial heartworm, fleas and tick medications and semi annual booster vaccination shots. For heartworm and fleas and tick prevention I use Earth Animal "Internal Powder for Dogs and Cats". I have my vet check for heartworm and other parasites every six months. Before I took over managing my dogs healthcare, every six weeks or so I had to take either my Corso or Lab to the Vet for one ailment or another and always worked out of the Vet's office $600. or move poorer. My dogs have not been sick since I switched to the raw diet and stopped the other stuff I mentioned. After reading the book "Food Pets Die For" by Ann Martin I will never feed my dogs commercial dog food again. The author mentioned the large pet food companies also use euthanized pets as another source of protein. They get the euthanized pets from vet offices and kill shelters. I referred Ann Martin's book to my friends with dogs and they all switched to either raw or home cook diet. There are other books that supports this author's findings. Well, that's my two cents on this subject. I hope I didn't put anyone to sleep.
