So very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful puppy, so devastating. Thinking of you. It must be so hard without any answers.

Nothing has ever been so hard! She was my child! My baby! The little light that bounced through this house bringing it to life in the late hours when we couldn't sleep... Sigh.. But she is an angel with wings now! In a heaven filled with tennis balls and lots of love!! R.I.P. My angel!

I started crying when I read your post....so young....and no indication of cause. I will hold my Bailey tighter remembering how uncertain life can be. Did you decide against an autopsy or did you receive an opinion from the vet...It's the unanswered questions that would bother me, especially with other dogs.

When my cat became sick and died while at the vets, I was sure it was poison - It Was!!! It cost me close to $1000, but I learned she breathed the poison in...my neighbour was spraying a prohibited chemical in between our houses, and the cat watching him from her perch on the upper deck breathed it in. Her lungs were destroyed. I hated with a white hot hate. I'm sure he feared for his life after that. Stupid, stupid man.

My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about this! I was just admiring the pics you posted of the 2 of them. You & your family (2 legged & 4 legged) are in my thoughts & prayers at this difficult time. :(

Thank you all!!

Today is a new day and moving forward will be hard. We are all still in shock...
Leonidas keeps searching for her.. I'm not sure what to do about this.. I've never had a dog Go through this with me.. I give him lots of love and tell him she is okay. I've showed him when were laid her to rest.. He just sat there with me. He ate a little last.

We appreciate all the love and support we've received ! Thank you every one!!!

Thank you for your condolences, everyone! This is one of the hardest things we've gone through!

I do have some good news though , Leonidas (my male I feared would slump into a very deep depression) is eating again and was a little more himself today.. Although he did go MOA for a few today and I found him laying by her grave..

He just laid there for an hour.. I sat next to him and gave him lots of love!

I know that time will heal our hearts! And that she is in heaven with all the tennis balls and butt scratches she could ask for!! The house is just not the same without her around..

We miss you baby girl!! Love you always!!

I am making a painting of her! I will post pictures when it's done!
