  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Pinching

Does anyone elses Mastiff pinch? When we are playing he doesn't bite, but he will pinch. It's kinda funny, but it also leaves little bruises. I love playing rough with him. He jumps around and does a cute side step. We call him our Mastiff Pinser.... He also does this to our little dog and Shorty loves it. Is it a form of a love bite so to speak?

It is a play act in many breeds of young dog but it can become a dominance issue, in an adult male of any breed. It is in fun but be aware of how foolishly strangers can overreact to large and giant breed dogs, last thing you need is for someone to be complaining of a bite.

Yah you might want to nip that in the bud, for the simple fact that you dont want him mouthing when he is big and powerful :)

Well he only really does it to me and Gary when we are playing. He loves people and is at the door when people come over..LOL Our main problem with that is he is a "crotch" dog. Perfect height for a nose in the crotch. He does like to mouth alot too.
