My girl had the same thing. Not as bad but pretty bad. I made sure to wash her dish daily, no plastic bowls. I also used antibacterial hand wipes. I whipped her face twice a day. After she are breakfast and at night before bed. After a few weeks it cleared them right up.

Smokeycat, did changing from the lamb based food help? Windsor has a bad case of chin acne right now. We are already doing allergy shots for environmental allergies, and feed TOTW lamb. I'm going to start up with the ACV again, but wonder if he also has a food allergy. Ugh.

I'm going to say yes but it has been a long time and it could of been something else that actually cleared it up. It has been many months since he has had an acne problem.

Calvin gets these pimples off and on. They were almost gone and they just came back.. They are so gross. I clean his bowl wipe his face.. Use Bragg vinegar and I don't think anything helps. I haven't changed his feed in 6 months . The only thing I do change is his treats . I tend to try different ones to change it up. I'm wondering if the raw marrow bones are causing something. I also give him kong bones filled with dog food where he licks/sucks them out. He just got neutered so perhaps it's hormones ,but who knows. He is on lamb and rice food natures receipe. All his treats are either liver or lamb based.

Please go to your vet to take a sample und check under microscope. I had the same think on my CC but probably is not the same. Please watch his skin everywhere to see if is coming out on some other places, not only on his chin. They look like pimples (I use to squeeze them like the pimples and disinfect) but when they start coming on one of the legs and lateral body I went to my vet.
They took a sample from his skin and they found DEMODEX.
Demodecia (demodex canis)
All dogs care this on them but is coming out on the dogs with week immunity system, in general on puppies until 7-8 months (According my vet).
The treatment takes to months minimum, I use to have an injection every 3 days and some pills (VETO Immune and VETO Skin). In two months they all disappear and the fur start growing back.
It happen in Europe, I have no idea what and how is in USA.
I wrote in case they vet will diagnose the dog with demodex. You will probably find a cure for local treatment but the dog need immunity boost.
I hope you won’t have what I had with my dog.
All the very best!

I recommend vet check to rule out bacterial infection. However, it appears to be an allergic reaction. Does he have any other bumps on his body? Do they itch? Do you use a stainless steel bowl to feed him and for his water?
