Older resident dog pees in the house at the presence of new pup?

So our resident 14 month old golden retriever just peed all over the floor while she's laying down playing with her toy with our new pup. She seemed to be pretty shocked that she peed, too. What are some possible causes?

She peed because there's pee scent in the house? New pup is still getting potty and house trained. (I clean up his pee right away though.)

She peed because she's being submissive to the new pup? (Is that a bad thing? I know the older dog should naturally be more dominant, and she is. Except that the pup just wouldn't back down.)

She peed to get my attention? (I did take the new pup out before all this happened. I had to take him out pretty often because I'm potty training him.)

She peed to mark territory? (But she was laying down playing with her toy when a huge puddle of pee showed up underneath her..)

She peed due to excitement? (They were in the heat of play.)

What should I do? :/

Jiggers peed once inside after I brought Kryten home. His was a deliberate marking where Kryten had had an accident. He didn't like the reaction I had to him peeing inside and never did it again. Not sure what would be the reason for hers.

My guess is a mix of being inside too long ("too long" being completely relative) and excitement about the puppy.

She's not that old, herself, so learning to "hold it" while playing with a new puppy is something she may still have to learn. I'd be sure she goes out for a potty break when you take the puppy out, too, if you expect some serious play time when they come back inside.

You're right. She's still young to know how to deal with excitement when playing with a new puppy. I'll make sure to take her out when I take Dante out to potty train him. Thanks! :D
