We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
The little scar is where he has been biting at himself! I hope it isn't an actual scar and will grow back but for now I am more concerned about his health then how it looks. We have an appointment to see the vet about it because it has been freaking me out. At first there was a tiny bump and a little scrape under the fur and we thought he had scratched himself and didn't think much of it. But then the bump grew, then he started chewing at it and now there is a second bump under the fur! So in a panic I called the vet and got on the schedule. My thought is it might be a food allergy since it obviously itches him. But, I'm not willing to risk just doing a diet change without having the vet take a look.
Yes! So glad we did have it looked at. It's funny though the antibiotic pills are giant and if I try to hide it in a treat or food Diesel just knows! He can sense that I am trying to trick him and he will eat around the pill. But, if Sean gives it to him he trustingly gulps it down right away. The hilarious thing is that I am a terrible liar and can't lie to save my life. Somehow I think that translates into being unable to trick my dog. haha
Well I have tried peanut butter, cheese and also the pill pockets. If I hand them to him he takes little nibbles until he reveals the pill inside and discards it. If Sean hands it to him he gulps it down. This is true regardless of which one of us makes it. I think its my subpar lying abilities. He can tell.
He can perceive the energy you are projecting. That's what makes good liars. The project the energy they are telling the truth. A testiment to how well our dogs know us. Better than we do
I take lunch meat and cut in half. I then roll the pill in the lunch meat. I give the half with pill to Hank and the half with no pill to Roxyf and I do it while they are sitting right next to each other. They are worried the other will get what they have and typically will swallow it right out. I wonder sometimes if they even taste it lol.

What's the saying? You can't bullshit a bullshitter? Much the same concept. I can project cool and calm energy when inside I'm freaking the fuck out. It's a skill I developed for survival. My wife calls it chameleonism. I have at least 85% accuracy with detecting lies from a stranger. Not over the internet of course. Everyone is a liar on the internet =P
