Something I have noticed is he has no real fear and does not get startled. Also no guarding instincts so far. Only 4 months old though I think he just hit 60 lbs, he was 56 on Saturday. I took a big bag of cans and sneaked up behind Odi and shook it like mad. He just turned around and wanted to play with it. When Dozer or Duncan snarls and snaps at him he just backs up and looks at them with the puppy tilted head thing and barks back. Yesterday he was chewing a bone and Jade got too close and he attacked her and she actually yelped and backed away. (I corrected him for that). He does not seem to be aggressive in any way he just doesn't care and is not scared.

well that's about right, he was 20 lbs then 40 and now 60. Boerboels grow so fast you can just sit and watch it happen.

Thanks all he is just like my Jade, owns a big chunk of my heart.

BTW something actually scared him last night. I think it was his mirror Odi. I was in the kitchen portioning off some meats and he was playing chase with Jade. In the door, around the coffee table, into the bedroom and back out the door to do all over again. We are talking both Boerboels doing this and the 2 RottenChows are just watching from the couches. All the sudden I heard a bark and Odi comes flying out of the bedroom with his fur up and has the OMG WTF look and turns and looks into the bedroom. So I go in to see whats up and he follows me in. He is totally brave now, then he jumps up on the bed and stares at Mirror Odi in the closet doors and stiffens up. I laughed and walked away with Odi behind me looking over his shoulder. Later on I caught him just watching Mirror Odi with a cocked head. It was pretty funny.

One more story.
The same night whil I was making dinner Odi was moaning and groaning wanting to be fed. He does this a lot so I just ignore or tease him. But tonight he was really carrying on even barking at me. Then it got quiet, I look over and he has his head against the TV licking the fork and plate of the TV people that were having dinner. As the lady would lift her fork he would follow it across the screen and lick the screen trying to get a taste. I just stood there totally shocked. When they went to commercial he stopped and turned to look at me like that didn't help. FEED ME!!
