I second mkj878, and I would be a bit concerned, as well. I am sure you are close to tearing your hair out! Whilst we were waiting for puppy, our breeder was very busy with a big litter, and working with/caring for her other dogs ( she had young skin kids, as well), but always managed to respond to emails within two or three days. if I phoned she would get back to me within the hour. She sent pictures weekly. She is just as reliable now if we have any questions or concerns whatsoever.
One thing that stood out for me on the Miramount site was the contract. She evidently is reworking the Show/Breeding contract, but had the pet one posted. I personally would never sign it in a million years. Lest I be sued for copy write infringement, I won't reproduce any part of it here, but after reading it several times, my understanding of the provisions I would find unacceptable include:
> If you take the dog off your property, it must be on a flat collar and leash at all times. So no dog parks, no doggy daycare, open areas ......?
> You must have your new puppy examined by a vet within three days (which is perfectly fine) but, only the diagnosis of life threatening genetic defect is grounds for returning the puppy for a replacement or refund.
> They seller or agent is given permission to enter your premises at any date or time, to inspect them.
> You have to agree not to post any statement about Miramount or their breeding program on any internet site (public or private) without written consent. To do so is considered a serious contract violation which will lead to the final provision -- namely that the buyer/violator will pay the breeder $5,000 and forfeit their Mastiff.
