Maddie just bit my neighbor!!!!!

she was in our fenced yard and stupid ass neighbor who has been warned too many times to count, came right up to the fence yelling at her to shut up! I was right there!!! I am shaking and crying!

the fence guys cannot make it until the middle of next week. my neighbors know this and now he is threatening to kill her! of course the calm and cool person I am, LOST my mind when he said that. he actually owns the house and lets his crackhead son live there for free! I have witnessed numerous drug deals go down over the last couple of months. I have not called the cops, as my bf has been friends with the son for 18 yrs and he freaks out when I threaten to.

Maddie bit him thru the fence and he has two wounds on the top of his arm. she hates them!! I go out with her since they like to come right up to the fence and then bitch because she barks. he is now saying that the son got bit also!!!which is total bullshit!! thank god she is utd on shots and rabies.

I swear I wish we could move the hell away!!! seriously, if you know the fucking dog hates you, why the hell do you get near the fence???!!!!

luckily, my bf went over and tried to smooth this out. told them that we are waiting for the 6ft privacy fence to be installed, which is why she was not outside alone. the neighbor decided to not call ac this time, but if it happened again he will.

he told my bf to apologize to me for his aggression towards me, when it happened. he did tell my boyfriend I was calm and nice up until he said he was going to kill her!!! ummm....HELLO!!! she is our baby! they all have been warned, I have no trespassing and dogs in yard signs on all fencing. she has not been left outside when I am not home, up until the last month or so, she is not even out alone when I am home!

I have finally stopped shaking and Maddie knows no difference!

so, as long as I can keep her good until the fence is up, we are good.

Hopefully, this will all blow over. I don't think I would take her out unless she was on leash. I also would check the yard and make sure they don't throw something over the fence that is poisoned.

AB, definitely my plan!

they actually love Flower and she loves them. but, they are snakes and I do not trust them. this latest escapade seals that even more!

Well at least your bf was able to talk to neighbor and sounds like everything is okay and your bf is friends with the son, but then you mentioned they're snakes!

Hector, my bf is a nice guy. he and the son have been friends/neighbors for 18yrs. the son has not always been
a druggie. he held a decent job at UPS, along with my bf, they rode motorcycles , went camping, hunting and such.
the last 3 yrs, this guy has gone down hill, lost his UPS job, lost his bike and lots of friends. he started having sketchy people
around and partying. the guy will be 42 this Dec., so not a young pup.

I am a b*tch, I do not trust people right away and have always had a reserve where this family is concerned. little things over the years, mainly how they treated and spoke about some other mutual friends. my feelings toward them have gotten worse in the last couple of months. they try to be nice to me every since I told them that I record the plate # of every vehicle that comes to his house and I also take pictures of the vehicles. I am protecting my children and dogs. I have given what I have so far to a detective, he didn't tell me what he has so far, but was thankful for the info. since the activity at night picked up a little my kids/dogs are never outside alone.

it is a weird situation.

I am always suspicious of people when out and about or in my yard and people try to talk to me. I have this grandma neighbor and every since we moved in she has already asked us like 4x to come over to her house. I'm always like alright and never went yet and I'm thinking why does she want us to go over so bad lol. I had druggie neighbors for almost a year, so I know what you mean! And yes I've had my co-worker's cop relatives run license plates of suspicious neighborly cars. Your neighbors should know how your dogs are by now. How can someone be so stupid as to agitate a barking dog and expect nothing to happen? There was a neighbor that came up to my fence one afternoon with his black lab that was off leash and my dogs flew to the fence and started to go crazy. I went over there to tell them to shut up and saw the guy hanging out with his dog...I'm like this fence is not very strong you better leave and he was like Oh they were okay with him before. I'm thinking when the hell has my dogs been okay when anyone or anything coming up to the fence. I told him again, you better leave (thinking in my head you stupid fuck). And I'm in the process of extending a section of my fence on top of the neighbor's already existing 100 yr old fence. Anyhow good luck. It seems we always have to come up with ways to deal with stupid asses every single day.

Well it's a good thing you never called the law on them as they would have returned that. The law should read "if you get bit by a dog thats behind a fence, you sir are a dumb ass" And the dog should always receive a raw steak.

You might also want to invest in a camera... the prices are getting more reasonable these days... there are also camera decoys (empty boxes with blinking red lights) that might make them think twice before approaching the fence, too...

I honestly believe they were trying to make her do something and this is much deeper than just todays incident.

Man, I am sorry to hear all this, but I'm glad your BF was able to defuse the situation. Chuck, you are absolutely right! How is it that people can even think of holding a dog responsible for it's actions if people come up the fence?!?!?

Duh! What the hell were you thinking???

I swear, you guys are so awesome!!

I truly appreciate the support, as always!! yes, my bf is good at that! I would have made the situation 10x worse.

People really do amaze me! theses neighbors have been thru 3 Filas and why they do not comprehend is beyond me!
honestly, my Eng. Springers would have bitten them for some of the things they have been doing.

the Fila owner in me is very proud of her!! she got a little extra something in her dinner!!
