So Lillie was absolutely amazing at lure coursing today! I shouldn't be surprised at her strength, but I have never felt anything like trying to hold onto her harness once the lure started. Unfortunately, I do not have a video of her running. This is the first lure coursing class this instructor has ever taught and there were a lot of issues... She didn't know how to keep the lure at the right speed to keep Lillie focused on it without slowing it down too much so Lillie kept catching it... Or she lost sight of it and figured out it comes around the corners so she pawed and bit the corner things and broke them. 3 times. And she broke the wire twice because she was able to catch the lures and try to run away with them... I have some videos of that, though lol. I was extremely impressed with Lillie's performance, not so much with the instructor's, although she tried hard. On Lillie's last run she started the lure while I was still holding onto the leash and was trying to unhook it, bought took my arm off. I' m tempted to see if I can switch and have Lillie join Yogi's class on Sundays and finish the session.
