LOL! I swear it is dirty LOL! They are laminate and have held up well with the dog but with me not so much (dropped a couch and took two chunks out of the floor less than a month after moving in), it is from Armstrong and think it was rated as light industrial and is called fruit wood. In all honestly I would likely go with hardwood as it can be sanded down and re-finished, whereas now Scott is going to have to tear the floor out to fix those spotsand he complains everytime one of us (me or the kids) drop something on it so I hate it because all he does is whine about how I damage it, have told him on numerous occasions to just rip it out and put cheap vinyl in for all I care. The kitchen have tile but this is through the rest of the house. Neighbours have put in cork and it is doing alright with one dog but seriously doubt it would stand up to what comes in and out of my house. Next house is going to likely be acid washed concrete/cement or stamped to ensure durability.
Color me embarrassed for commenting on the floors and not the dogs. They are beautiful, makes me want one but I don't think I"m strong enough for a Corso. My EM walks all over me, both litrally and figuratively.
