Just turned 6 mos old...

...and she's turning into quite the precocious teenager, definitely has upped her stubborn quotient, but I'm older and more stubborn LOL so keeping her very busy both mentally and physically now is key, as she's much more apt to do exactly what I want when I want when she's bushed. Keeping her very busy socially too with lots of other dogs big and small and she's taking it all in stride. Just weighed in at 65lbs too FWIW.

She hit a growth spurt last couple weeks - taller and a bit bulkier too.

She looks great, Cobalt, so much like our girl. Portia turned 7 months yesterday and weighs in at 62 pounds. I hear you on the getting stubborn! So far she has "forgotten" her house-training and is working through excess mouthing and a newfound taste for clothing. The house-training issue rectified within a week, and I'm doing my best to ignore the biting so she doesn't think it will get her anything. "Yelping" no longer seems to work at this age, though it did work to correct her initial mouthing stage. On the upside, she is looking to us much more for play and entertainment, is getting better on walks, and has become gentler with small dogs.

Thanks Paumanok, sounds like our teenagers are having many of the same issues LOL. Got lucky with the house training one though, she hasn't raised that one again...yet!
Bea is now starting to dwarf our AmStaff, but they still play and get along great together.

Willa still mothers her though...
