  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

I've been silently stalking all of you...

Haha just kidding but I have been lurking off & on without posting. So much has happened, I don't even know where to start. I believe some of y'all may have read posts about me being sick a couple weeks ago, which lucky for me decided to stick around for a while. Started out as a sinus infection then some how ended up as chest congestion with some coughing & coughing oh & coughing some more. Then this past Friday I had my bottom wisdom teeth pulled. HHOOOOOLLLLLYYY HELL has this been an experience! I did not realize I was going to have holes in my mouth that were going to take weeks-months to close/heal. And the soreness in my jaws is just ridiculous. I swear they used a car jack to prop my mouth open for the surgery. Thank the Lord I was completely knocked out. I was told by my stepdad that the drive home was interesting & I was very concerned with the fact that I couldn't wink. Sorry no videos. ;) Right now I'm on a mush diet & the thought of chewing anything makes me want to throw up. I did lose 4 lbs though!

I have so much more to say, but I think I need to work up the courage to say it. It's borderline depressing for me & I'm not ready to say it just yet... No I'm not pregnant or anything like that. Just certain things have changed in my life. Trying to figure out what to make of them. :)

I wish I could've seen you after your wisdom teeth. My husband got his done not too long ago and it was hilarious!

Oh lord I read the text messages I sent. They were hysterical! Apparently I thought there were coke boxes on the floor in the recovery room & I told my friend the dryer is ugly. Then I asked why someone brought their grandma shower seat. My stepdad said I couldn't wink & that I told him "you don't understand I can't wink!!" He thought it was hilarious. He told me he thought I was gonna cry bc I couldn't wink. Lol!

Hahaha! My husband called me while I was at Walmart freaking out about where I was and got jealous that I was buying our daughter a toy. Then he kept talking about his rocket ship blanket.

Oh I can't forget the text I sent about comparing the surgery to jerky. Yeah I have no idea. There were some other texts I can't even figure out what I was trying to say! Lol! I am just so glad it's done & over with. Just need these holes to heal up so I can get back to normal life!

I went to the store & stocked up on macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, ice cream & a couple little individual macaroni & hamburger microwave deals. It's so bad that I can't even think to drink anything other than bottled water!

Did you have to "irrigate" the holes with a syringe? I just started doing that today & it grosses me out.

I think so? It's been awhile. It was even worse for me when I had my tonsils out and deviated septum fixed at the same time. Totally rocked tampons up my nose for a week lol.

Hahahaha!! I have a deviated septum too!! My mom keeps telling me not to get it fixed bc she's afraid they'll mess up my cute nose!

Hah, I was lucky. When they pulled my Wisdom teeth (and they had to go digging, they were coming in sideways UNDER the next molars) I looked like a chipmunk for about three weeks.....but was in NO PAIN within a matter of days. My mom had to keep reminding me to eat mush cause I didn't hurt! My brother was the exact opposite, almost no swelling, but massive pain. Then theres my classmate in highschool....the root of one of hers was wrapped around her jawbone. They ended up cracking her jawbone to get it all!

Ow now my jaw hurts! My wisdom teeth were impacted too. I'm still convinced they didn't fix my deviated septum but don't want to go thru that again!

My mom was pissed lol. She made me go through a 2nd set of braces when I was 16 cause my teeth STILL weren't straight.....and still weren't straight after the 2nd set of braces. They pulled my wisdom teeth and in less than a month my teeth were damn near perfect.....

I had braces twice too!!! The first time for less than a year on just my top teeth and then from 8th-11th grade on top and bottom.

I also had a pallet (spelling?!) expander. My mouth was a hot mess for my adolescence haha.

Yah me too. Retainer after expander after retainer....then braces then retainer, then braces AGAIN, on the other hand the only teeth they pulled were my wisdom teeth....

I had braces for nearly 8 years. A "dentist" in Indiana decided to pull a couple of my molars on the top to allow my wisdom teeth to grow in. The oral surgeon I saw last week told me at my consult that was the dumbest thing he's ever heard of. The top wisdom teeth have been in for a while now & he told me that if I ever need root canals on them to just have them pulled bc I don't hardly use them. And they are going to be very hard to keep clean. My teeth are horrible. Even when I floss every single day I still get the callous build up on the backs of my bottom front teeth & I know my bottom wisdom teeth caused the crowding of my front few bottom teeth. Mine were growing in sideways also, sitting on top of the nerve. One partially erupted & one underneath bone. He said they came out pretty easily which was a huge relief. I was concerned I had waited too long. I've been told for years now to have them removed. Biggest problem was I was terrified to get them done!

The worst part is I didn't wear my retainer after all that and now my teeth are messed up again. Well really just the front two but I've considered braces as an adult ...
