In search of best bed for growing 9-month-old EM

Our growing baby, Bindi, is wearing out/outgrowing the old bed! (see Exhibit A, lol)

I love the Barker beds, but the price...yeesh. Hoping to spend less than $279.00...:pray:

There are so many choices on Petco, Amazon, Overstock, I thought I'd see what you all recommend (or hate).

We bit the bullet and bought big barker. It has held up so well in the last several months! That's not very helpful for you hah but I thought I would share :)

I use the beds from Costco but then again I have Cane Corsos.

Cheaper options are baby crib/toddler mattresses and papasan cushions. I have been searching recently as we have costco beds which are great and cheap but Bear is now getting too big for them.

Mine don't lay on it all the way. I have two shally beds that are like the foam you use to sound proof a room. Got one at home goods and the other at Walmart.

Love all the ideas! Thanks you guys. I showed my husband the options, and I think we're going to get the giant Big Barker, as soon as we can afford it ... :cool: Will update later.

Haha, noooooooo. No room...She has a crate still for at night, full of the fluffy remains of all our old bed pillows, her old bed, blankets, etc. This will be for her to spend the days on, since the one she's been using is flat and ready to retire. :)

Ordered a Barker last night as a special treat for our girl. Can't wait to see it! Will keep you posted.

Also may need to rearrange the living room.. Or possibly build an addition, lol

My boy inherited my son's organic wool crib mattress, but for some reason he prefers my Tempurpedic!

Good luck finding a bed. Rhino is picky. He hates loose filled beds, and memory foam beds. We have the expensive dr foster smith one with washable covers. It is really just foam with egg-crate foam on each side but he loves it. Most of the time he sleeps half on/half off of it.

Her Big Barker came today, and she has been on it since it hit the floor :D. She LOVES it. SoHi, planning food for next Sunday... I'm doing teriyaki chicken, Racheal is bringing a cauliflower fried rice, so anything you want to do that goes with that...? Side dish, appetizer, drinks, bread, salad, dessert ? :) glad we got it!!IMG_20150909_171330345_HDR.jpg

So, yeah... you guys don't need to bring anything to the potluck Sunday... LOL

but WOW SHE LOVES HER BED.
