I'm so sorry that Atlas has parvo and ended up in the hospital. :( How is he this morning? That's a lot of stress for a puppy, car ride, new home and ended up in the hospital. Give him a hug from me and Titan. Titan sends a big. slobbery kiss.

So sorry to hear, very sad. I hope everything goes well. Poor lil guy. Any word? Hope your son is keeping his head up too. When we brought ours home we had a parvo scare but the vet was wrong. The kids were upset. After I got the results (literally right after) I got kicked out of the vet, he said he was closing and had no time treat my pup we drove an hr to a large animal hos. the vet retested him since his behavior did not show any signs and only symptom was blood in his stool which wind up being from the dewormer from tapeworms. After I chose to pay more for a better vet. But emotionally is was a very difficult time for all of us. I really hope things turn out well for you, the family and for Atlas. Keep us posted.

OK. So I got a call from my breeder this morning, he called first thing and talked to the vet. They said Atlas is a completely different dog this morning! Hes eating food like a champ, drinking a bunch of water, wagging his tail, banging on the cage to get more food, solid stool etc etc. My breeder said that it had to be a false positive because of the third round of shots that he gave atlas a lil early plus all the stress from getting his ears cut and all the movement in cars and what not. His other pups are totally fine and he didnt give them their third round of shots. So I guess it turned out to be a false positive for the parvo test!
