Oh my answer is kind of boring. I would probably just start a few new threads to stimulate Mastiff related discussion, check up regularly on all of the posts to make sure everyone was staying somewhat in line and pm the people who weren't.

Like I said, boring. I've done the whole forum moderator and forum admin thing before and I always took it pretty seriously(but not to the point where I was an asshole). I really enjoyed it for the most part, but often felt like I couldn't say some of the things that I really wanted to because I had to lead by example and there were a lot of younger people that were members(13-32 was our age range).

Laura that's why I enjoy the chit chat threads because I can kinda let go. Otherwise I have to bite my tongue and suck it up which can be super frustrating!

I LOVE the chit chat board! Since I don't have my Mastiff yet, I feel like I just don't have a whole lot to contribute to some of the other threads. When I am knowledgeable about something, I add to the topic, but usually I just read and absorb. The chit chat thread is a place where I feel like I can still actively participate about other topics without taking away from the entire purpose of the forum.

Plus it is hilarious 99% of the time.

I don't like infractions. I think I've given one? I'd rather just give regular ole warnings and then give people the boot if need be.

Clearly you screwed up if you got a blue over a red. Mongrels.

Yeah, lol I can see how it's not working. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if the "Fila" people were aware of rule #7:

Be respectful. This is harder to define, but will be moderated. An example would be disrespecting pit bull owners who chose a blue dog over a red dog, and "sneering" at them or acting like they're idiots for the choice they made. If a moderator believes you are being purposefully disrespectful to a fellow member, you will be notified. Bashing for the sake of bashing will not be tolerated.
