I think I know someone who got bit by a fila....

This was a few years ago, but for some reason the realization just dawned on me that it was probably a fila... And could have.been much worse. My friends 18 year old daughter went on an exchange trip for 6 months to Brazil. The family she stayed with had 2 large dogs kenneled at the.back of their property....a kennel with in a fenced yard. Her daughter woke up early one morning, and heard.the family talking outside. Either nobody warned her about the dogs or something was lost due to the language.barrier. She went out in the front yard, not finding the family she went back to the back gate and reached over to unlatch it, both dogs charged one was able to get her arm before she was able to pull it back over the fence reguiring 6 stitches. She told me this story when she first returned from brazil...I didnt pup 2 and 2 together, until I came to this site to research the EM and her daughters reaction to a brindle american bulldog bloodgound x i was dog sitting... she said she waa very nervous of this dog (who was as swset as pie), because it reminded her of the dig that bit her in brazil.....and for some reason, when this dawned on me this morning I found it extremely interesting!

I make it a point not to stick my hand anywhere near unknown dogs without their owners nearby, be they enormous Mastiffs or teeny toy poodles. It's not just dangerous for me, but upsetting to the dog.

My wife's cousin is about 15. They have an em he tries to pet Delilah every time I come over. I laugh he would for sure get bit if I let go of her. Lol the the lid thinks he's a dig whispered of sorts. Kind of a moron.

My male bit someone when he was seven months. I had him in the back of the expedition with the gate down listening to music. A buddy of mine came sneaking up to give me a bear hug. Jughead took exception to that and nipped him just below the groin.
