lol, that's true. what everyone says is correct.. someone that wants to break in even though you got a dog (even a trained attack dog) would just come in and shoot the dog first... my response is always that the dog just bought me 10 seconds to grab my own gun.... 10 secs is a long time and more than enough time for me to get prepared.

I initially thought the chain might be a halloween prop, but I reflected on our old Beagle and how many chains that tank of a dog broke. They were seriously heavy chains! Contrasting our old Beagle to your CC's weight, maybe it isn't such a stretch to have that chain. Drago at the end of it would be able to keep people outside of the garage without being lured away, leaving an unguarded access to your home.
I think you mentioned somewhere that you are an ardent climber, hence, the heavy carabiner. The whole system looks very sturdy. Let's hope he doesn't break chains the way our Beagle did, surprising strength in that dog.
