My 3 year old male presa canario mastiff isn't listening when it comes to walks and having other distraction around. If we are in the house he listen pretty good. But I can't control him when he is outside and he has bite 2 people and has went after 2 dogs..I had rescued him 1 year ago and I've looked into training but they all are thousands of dollars which I don't have. And I love him to bits and I really don't want him to be put down but we are on are last chance as I don't know what to do with him. And can't afford the law suits from the person he has bitten ..I really want him to be happy and have a good life ..

There's a lot here that nobody on a forum is qualified to address and it would be wrong for anyone to pretend otherwise. You really need to see a certified behaviorist, but I understand that's sometimes hard to do. I don't know exactly what you mean when you say you can't control him. The safest advice I can give you is to manage the situation. His life depends on you keeping him safe from himself. If you can't keep him away from other people and dogs, then he doesn't go by them. If you can't control him on a walk, then he doesn't go for a walk. He should never be put into a position where he can react and do harm to a person or another animal. And aversive/painful/punitive methods of training really tend to backfire with dogs like this. That's why you need a good behaviorist and a reward based trainer that works with a behaviorist. If you need help locating a behaviorist or a trainer in your area, I'll be happy to see if I can help. Last thing, and I can't stress this enough - you NEED to manage this behavior. If he injures another person or another dog then that's on the humans that allowed him to be put in that situation. I know that sounds harsh, but sometimes truth is harsh. Please let me know if I can help you locate some professional help in your area. I'll do my best and I wish you the best of luck.
