Who here is planning or has already got their mastiff a Halloween costume? We got Norm his the other day and had to put him in it for pictures. I would love to see everyone's pups in their costumes.

I wanted to get Duchess the cowboy costume where it looked like a little cowboy was riding her like a horse. But I couldn't figure out if the large/x large would be big enough for her.

Daisy got a lion costume this year. Last year she was a unicorn. Lol.

I keep looking for costumes for our crew, then realize I just have too much going on this year. We dress them for all occasions, so it's difficult to NOT get them ready to trick or treat. I'm planning on getting a new sewing machine in the next month or so; next year they'll have great costumes. This year they'll just have to be dogs. :(

Hell, going as dogs is a costume for most of our dogs on this forum:). The spoiled rotten children that we all have.:p

I'm not going to do it, lack of time energy and money, but I was considering dressing Apollo up as a dragon and Arty as a knight in armour, I even found a knight constume with a squeekytoy sword! Couldn't find a dragon I liked that'd fit Apollo though, and I do not have hte energy to make one...

I HATE halloween and I am not a big fan of dressing the dog up so Ruger and I will be hiding in the house with the lights off so alll of the little people don't find us. I am not a fan of big crowds or other peoples children so......:)
The photos are great, though, and I look forward to seeing more. The prisoner is hilarious!

image.jpgHello everyone,
I am new to the forum and mastiff world. I just got a french mastiff, Bugatti, who is currently 9 weeks. I plan on using Halloween as a socializing event for my puppy. I will be dressing him up. Since we got em we always say he looks like a cub, so I will just be making a mane out of an old brown shirt to make him look like a lion. I will post a picture once it's done :)

I have 6 dogs. They would rip the costumes off of each other,,so I'm not going to waste the money!

We have four; they're usually too busy trying to figure out what the heck all the crap on their backs & heads are to worry about ripping off the other guy's stuff.

I have a long haired dashound. I was going to go for the ACME rocket on his back. Or the giant spider. The spider would be great with the legs sticking out. Too much fun.

Welcome aboard! Bugatti is absolutely adorable! You've come to the right place for a wealth of info re: DDBs and Mastiffs in general. Post a pic of the lion costume, would love to see it.

I stupidly ordered an "XL" bunny costume that said suitable for Rottweilers and this is what I got...

After much googling, I found a Lion costume on Etsy. It was custom made but, unfortunetly, doesn't fit either. I'm sending it back to be remade:

Lambeau is so aloof and likes to stare disinterestedly back at us so much that it gave me a great deal of joy to dress him up as a banana last year. We need ideas for this year though, I was wondering about turning him into a panda somehow. We can't go back to the banana costume as shortly after halloween it went missing and was only recently found shredded to bits hidden under the back hedge.

LMAO at the bunny costume ^^^ !!! Haha!!

I swore I would NEVER put my dog in a costume, but all these cute pics are making me re-think it...
