I've had people swaer to me that their 60lb lab was at LEAST 100 lbs. I don't think 1/2 the people out there can correctly guage weight on a dog. Dillon looks very well muscled and stout, and people all the time say " Oh he must weight like 180 right?" Should see their face when I tell them he's at 105lbs. Some people just get a kick outta how big, or how big they THINK their dog is.

How are they making pit bulls that big? Are they crossing them with presas or something similar?

Have you seen some of the newer "PITS" I don't even think they are calling them APBT. They look so short and squatty like they are in a perpetual pushup.

To be fair, Cane's weight is just a guess. The last time he was weighed he was 150 at about 13 months. That was 3 years ago. Since then his chest has dropped and once he hit 3 I let him put on a little more weight.

These giants would have to be on growth hormones and steroids. My Storm was one of the biggest pitt/staff crosses around a female at almost 80lbs. And she was walking perfection.

@Tinga that is not a real Pitt. Looks closer to an English staff crossed with a bull dog type.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised considering what pits were and whta they are becoming now.....I wouldn't even call them pits anymore.

I agree. Those aren't anything but backyard breedings gone wrong. You see some of the breeders websites and they track the lineage like it matters. I don't consider them APBT at all, and some circles have started calling them American Bullies to differentiate them from the APBT. They are a designer dog and I can't imagine the health problems with these types either

K enough ragging on the Am Bulls. : ( My daughter and her bf have one, he is the sweetest thing on the planet. Certainly not what I would have chosen but I had no say. (have since turned their heads the corso way, but they aren't allowed to get one before me ha)
Annywayyyyy...when we went to look at the breeder and all his dogs, he had a beautiful GIGANTIC dog named Boaz, who was EXTREMELY large. Poor guy had HD so he wsn't going to breed him and he was going to have an op. But he had such a beautiful soft personality and Im thinking he might have been about 165 lbs cus it was shocking when i heard his weight. But he was a BIG boy.
I can't for the life of me remember the kennel name, and he shut down his kennel too, tried to get the kids to take another dog awhile later cus he had to rehome them all.

Hey I have raised Bully dogs more than half my life and love them all. They are proper dogs when brought up correctly. My second used to sleep on the bed with my Ex's 3 year old boy. Nobody messed with that kid while he was sleeping.
