First Crossfit competition!

So I joined a Crossfit box a little over a year ago in the town I work in...mostly to develop a relationship with them being that in the director of a physical therapy clinic. I fell in love but had a really hard time getting there consistently so starting in January I fully committed and am obsessed haha . I did my first individual beginner competition today and finished in fourth (I think...maybe fifth...waiting on the results still as they only announced top 3). Top 5 got to do the final workout and that was me! Yay! This is obviously not dog related but I am so excited that it went well

And one of Oscar since this is a dog forum and all on the covered purple couch I can't seem to get rid of.

Whoa! You are super strong! I'm just proud I've gotten to a point where I can do 8 lb weights for a lot of the exercises at Orange Theory and sometimes even 10lbs now! There are some I still have to use 5lb on though :-(

Oh and CONGRATS!!!!! I've seen ads for "Cross fit with your dog classes". And if I ever find one close to home I may actually try that out! In the meantime I'm sticking to elliptical, walking and Orange Theory but Orange Theory is super duper tough (for me).

Ha! Thanks Nik! Good for you...I've heard great things about Orange Theory! I have taken Oscar with me a few times but holy moly that is a scary place for Him! I need to take him sometime when I'm not working out and just take it all in!
