Dog clothing advise.

I'm thinking of getting my dog something like a shirt or a vest for the times we are going out and it's raining or when the rain catch us out there. I KNOW IT'S A DOG and they are made to endure but still it causes a lot of issues. So i'm looking for a little advise on the matter, not about styles or brands since i probably won't be able to get many of the things you are use to. I'm more interest in things i should avoid like fabrics, desings or any other thing that could be harmfull for the dog or that doesn't work as supouse to. Thanks.

I think the big issue will be finding something that fits well and doesn't get in the way of proper limb movements.

Also - be sure not to add clothing when it's already warm out, or you might add to a heat-stroke issue.

We have had freezy dogs in the past (our bulldog/boxer mix was so thin skinned he'd shiver if it was <65F out), so we have a variety of different doggie coats, sweaters and slickers around. So far, Denna's been hot-bodied, so no need for extra fabric.
