Considering showing my corso

But sheis not AKC. Only ICCF. Do they have their own shows? How do I go about finding out if she's up to oar and how to get into the whole thing? I've never been into the dog show world, more of the bite work world with my GSD. So this is 100% new to me. Any advice is welcome. TIA!

There are a few members who show their pups. Hopefully they'll post soon with answers to your questions. Do you have pics of your pup, so they can view her?

I hope you don't consider this a hijack but in a similar vein, does anyone have and good resources that would explain how one would go about getting started showing their pup? Is the process breed specific? Sorry if this is a silly question but I am an totally new to the concept of showing dogs.

If the parents are not AKC registered check their rules to make sure you can show a dog with AKC-FSS registration as your dog would be the first generation in the stud book for your line.

Kahuna, try to find some handling classes in your area. They are classes that will show you what to expect in the show ring and how to get your dog used to it in advance.
