We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Change of season, new things CC will learn

It is spring, ugh...still cold & it just snowed here yesterday. However, I am looking forward to warmer weather for Zeela to experience some new things as far as the beach/lake/pools, the garden hose, the smell of a BBQ, she saw my motorcycle but can't wait until she hears it start up and just being more outside....is going to be fun to see how she learns/reacts to new things. We all live different places so interesting to hear what everyone is looking forward to doing with their pup.

It has definitely been a very long winter. I am looking forward to warmer weather in general, and especially to finally taking the dog to swim. After months of snow, rain, and cold temperatures, we are just ready to enjoy the outdoors a little more.

Yes, sir. It's been a looong winter. I got Zeela in September of last year, the weather was still warm but she was too young to explore. So now, when the weather gets better, she will.
It's funny how you forget how they haven't seen some things, I look forward to it...fun!

Just being able to take Jiggers (Irish Setter x) out for long walks again without either of us getting too cold. Kryten's (EM) activity will go down the warmer it gets but being able to take him to the river again will be nice.

We just started going for long walks, she actually is doing really well on a leash (it was hard work to get her to walk, so proud of the progress). It's still cold at night but not as bad and the day is longer so that helps. She is helping me get back in shape as well, we don't walk just one block, more like 15 -20 blocks. lol...I can see how the heat will slow her down, they have so much body weight. I am sure she will be in the AC in the summer more than I will be. lol...

Here in South Louisiana we have nice mild winters. Gorgeous spring time weather. But summer is brutal!! Humid as hell. Hard to be outside unless your swimming. Autumn is nice, it gives a much needed reprieve from the heat.

This year we actually got a good bit of snow for this area. It was beautiful. It only lasted 2 days, but we enjoyed it.

It's funny cause a lot of people think we are tromping through the swamp, wearing rubber boots, and eating alligators here in Louisiana...( I only know a few people that do that ;) Lol...)
We actually have beautiful land here.

Sounds good to me. I hate the winters here & our spring is crap too. I do not think all of you eat alligators only when I watch Swamp people. lol... I told Zeela to get ready, we gotta move some where warmer. sooner than later. See how she handles the summer.

Well I am looking forward to enjoying milder summers in Portland. The summers in the Bay Area get way too hot at times and we end up stuck inside eating ice and hosing ourselves down and over and over to try to stay cool. I imagine that it won't be nearly so bad in Portland. Plus we have AC in the new place! Woot! I am looking forward to walks, hikes and endless hours playing in our new yard. Not sure if they have any off leash areas with ponds/lakes in Portland but if so I would love to take Diesel and Kahlua. We took Diesel to one in Seattle and he adored it so much. Turns out our boy loves swimming but only in fresh water.

Very nice, congrats on your new home! I love the heat, I will make sure to keep Zeela cool, I can tell already that it is gonna effect her. Hopefully, we can try out the beach within the next few weekends before opening season and no dogs allowed.

Lol. I can't understand anything those guys say on Swamp people. And we have Cajun accents. My husband works with some guys from Pierre Port. He asks them all the time, What the hell did u say? He said they need subtitles when they talk. Lol. He told one guy he was gonna bring him a chalk board to write on. Different areas of South Louisiana have different accents. Thankfully ours is much milder than the swamp people's. :p

Gators are delicious. I understand the humidity coming from NYC to Florida, the summers are brutal also unless your on the beach. My friend that lives in Medellin Colombia now grew up in Lafayette LA and told me a lot about it. He will never return to the states but he did speak highly of Lafayette.

Same here. I'm definitely tired of the east coast (D.C. area) winters and looking into moving to LA, FL, or even AZ.

Gator tail is pretty good, so are frog legs ;) We have great food here. And fortunately for my husband I like to cook... We actually are thinking about buying a house in Lafayette. We are currently on the outskirts of Baton Rouge. The property here is higher than in Lafayette because of the work here. But Lafayette is only 1 hour from us. It is nice here in Louisiana. And there are good paying jobs. My husband is a pipe fitter.

Sounds like a great area! I have only been to Lake Charles for work. There is a lot of manufacturing companies that pay very well.
