Bunny run

Finally made a bunny run so they can have free roaming time without me supervising them. 16' x 8' lots of room for both. Reused old fence boards to slap it together.

Oh- it looks so soft and nice for them. If I was a bunny, I think I would enjoy that a lot... :)

I know they will enjoy the extra room, the only concern is can they stand each other?? No injuries or deaths so far, checked every hour.

Bunnies can be mean. I was had one that was related to Satan!

Nice job!!!

Thanks. The brown and white dutch bunny is a bitch. The lop is a complete sweetheart. When the lop was a baby, I put them together thinking they would be alright - I mean bunnies are nice soft small gentle creatures right? Next thing I know, the dutch beat the lop baby and made it cry! So no more together time! A year later I let them out in the yard together, the dutch would start shit and then the lop would beat the shit out of the dutch and then all is well. Then there was this one incident in the house where the dutch ran over to the lop and bit it and the lop backflipped and kicked the dutch to the wall lmao....and then all was well.

Are you worried about them burrowing out?

I had forgotten until now but years ago we had a bunny that would chase down the cat and hump the shit out of him. Poor cat was never the same. LOL

They haven't burrowed out of the yard, didn't see any signs of digging yet. They only part where they can dig out is into the yard. Usually people would lay down that garden fencing so bunnies can't dig out, but I really didn't want to spend $25 on that. I'll have to see what happens.

Man...I had a white bunny (he's RIP) and he was the funniest sweetest bun to around people. When he saw another bunny - he would hump the shit out of them too!! He was so dominant that he would chase them down and go about humping their faces... I couldn't believe it - even left wet marks and totally had a horny face....sigh. My feelings about him were never the same.

We had this big ole lop eared bunny "Eyeore" a few years ago, and he had one of those large, cheap balls that you find in the grocery store or Target. He would chase that ball all over the house, humping away! It was really weird but absolutely hysterical! For Eyore, it was true love!

Love your bunny resort-Eyeore would have love one of those!

Thanks. I would have liked it bigger, but ran out of fence boards. Hell I would like them to have the whole yard, but it is not secure enough and I hate spending 10 minutes chasing the dutch down - just not cool.
