Building our home in the country.....

We do! It is about 4 acres when full and about 3 in severe drought. They are putting the paper on the roof today and windows next week so we are almost ready for the rain. Of course we are supposed to get 2-6 inches over the next 3 days. Lol. That's ok, we need it.

I like the color! Is that the final color or just the color of the building material? Please tell me that HUGE window on the right of the above photo is the master suite. That would be amazing. Or maybe even a study.

Lol! You guys crack me up. The color is just the wall board they use under the stone. It looks bigger than it should because it is pier and beam and is raised about 3 feet above where a normal slab would be. The back of the house is mostly Windows with large picture windows and two sets of large sliding glass doors. Unfortunately my internet there is too slow to respond often but I'll try to post updates.

I love stone! Unfortunately, asked my wife and she said I couldn't live with you =( She said I could have a pond though if I dug it by hand. ::eek:ff topic:: After hurricane Katrina, there was a house built with stone that moved off its property, foundation and all. It was sitting in the middle of the street. Otherwise it looked untouched, no broken windows, missing shingles nothing. It was crazy. I'll try to find the photo it's around the house somewhere.

Okay, that sounds like a definite yes to me. How many dogs can I have?

When will my room be ready?

The dogs have their own room with a doggie door you can share if you don't mind sleeping with two poms a bull mastiff and whatever you bring. :)
