Apollo's growth chart

Since we've got at least a couple folks going to be coming in with new puppies this winter I thought I'd post Apollo's growth(weight) chart as I've kept track of it. I know one of my big questions was what to expect from him growth wise.

Weeks/weight(lbs)
10/24 (he was 25lbs at the breeder, but the 10hr drive took it out of him and he weighed in at 24lbs 2 days later at the vets)
13/32
16/42.6
17/45.8
19/52
25/68
27/73
31/79
36/85
40/90
65/98
73/105
76/107
84/112

That he is! I need to do another set of good pics, and his breeder has asked for a stacked photo.....

Lambeau seems to have matched the growth rate until about week 72, then he stopped adding weight an is still 105-107. He'll be 2 in January so I'm hoping he gains as much weight as possible by then, because the twins arrive around then and he'll be jockeying for space around the trough.

Malaywill, thats not unusual, I was a bit surprised Apollo continued to gain over the summer, his breeder warned me that they often slow way down over the summer and do spurts over the winter. He'll be 2 in Dec, and last I asked was pretty average for his litter, with the exception of one brother who's a giant be everyone's standards.

I keep forgetting to update this.

104 weeks/113lbs he'd probly weigh a bit more but we had a setback in the fall when he got stressed and then sick and he had to put back on 6 pounds

He was 28" on his 2nd birthday, which was when we weighed him at 113lbs. He's not likely to get taller at this point, just fill out.

it varies quite a bit, but we're expecting Apollo to be 135-140 ish (well, we were, I'm kinda wondering if he's going to end up larger, for all that he's not hugely tall, he's ahead of the growth charts I have to compare to for similerly sized dogs, and he's SO NOT fat....), his big brother on the other hand was 130 on their first birthday.

Way to go Apollo! Thanks for the info Ruth. Now stop making that boy get off the couch. ;)
