I don't know that the breeder should be responsible. Particularly since the issue has been allowed to go on for days. It's pretty standard to take the pup for a vet check during the first three days on your own dime. It's usually in the contract. Do you have a contract? You also shouldn't have to wait to take in a sample, but at least you're seeing someone tomorrow. Not sure what you mean by seeing a nurse, but maybe you mean a vet tech? If you're going in tomorrow, make sure that you get a fresh sample. If I were you I would take in a sample of both the more solid and the runny poop. Put them in separate bags or old pill bottles and then in the fridge until you go. Even if you have to use a spoon to get the runny one in a bag.

Do you have a puppy contract from the breeder? You will not be able to get the breeder to pay the bill. The pup should have already seen the vet at this point anyway. I'm with boxer girl. Take a fresh stool sample...that needs tested. I'm not sure the vet tech will help until you can get in and get the fecal checked

And please, keep your female away from where the puppy has been pooping. This is likely coccidia and she CAN get that. A vet tech can test the sample for you. It shouldn't take long, but they may want to see the pup before prescribing anything and that's a vet's job. Also take in whatever you've been using to worm him as well as the list of what shots he's been given. They need all of that.
