American Bandogge Mastiff

Hello Everyone, I would like to introduce Murphy. He is a 4 month old, American Bandogge Mastiff. His father was 100% Cane Corso and the mother is American Bandogge Mastiff. He is very intelligent and well behaved. Words cannot express what I feel for this dog. Here is his litter, he was 1 of 12 Here he is at 8 weeks Here he is now at 4 months Here are a couple more from random times. He really likes to sleep!

They're essentially an APBT crossed with a mastiff type. I've usually seem then crossed with neo's.

OR they are trying not so sound rude lol. IMO it sounds like a xbreed variation of w/e the fuck people decide to breed together and slap a cool sounding name on it. =) Was that the answer you were looking for? lol

http://www. dogbreedinfo.com/americanbandoggemastiff.htm Yes, it is basically a mixed breed mastiff. I am going to get him DNA tested. The father is 100% Cane Corso, the mother is mixed breed mastiff. They are a UCA recognized breed. So far he has been an amazing dog. Its my first Mastiff type and I am sure it wont be my last.

I'm sure more than a few of us would be very interested to see the DNA results. If anything to have a better definition of what an American Bandogge Mastiff that's a recognized breed is.

I have a question, for my education: when they say in the link you provided, the American Bandog Mastif is a APBT x "mastiff", is it any breed of mastiff (but pure) ? a mastiff-type (even if mixed)? or a specific breed of mastiff?
Thanks

To be honest I do not know. I was looking for a Mastiff and came across these guys. I didn't do too much research into the breed before purchasing and I figured it was just a type of mastiff. You can contact Nephin Kennels, they are the breeder and have a wealth of information on them. Very nice people and always willing to answer questions. That's what sold us was the breeder. They met all the criteria we were looking for.

So I was browsing through some info on the breeders website and it looks like Murphy's mom is a mix of a Boxer and an American Bulldog. According to the dog breed website linked above, you need an American bulldog and a mastiff to create an American Bandogge. So Murphy is extra special since hes got some boxer in him as well.
