Hi everyone,so i got a male puppy 2 weeks ago he is 10 weeks now. I currently have a 10 month old 105lb female at home. when i tried to introduce them my girl was less than happy a bit aggressive in my opinion.well ive kept them seperate but my female has come around she went from aggressive to curious and playful. My question is what is considered normal playing when i let them out toghether my female is all over the puppy snifffing him trampling him but it really doesnt seem aggressive at all. the puppy even looks for her and runs around her barking and nipping, im just afraid my female dog is gonna hurt the puppy any tips or advice or some knowledge inthe situation would be appreciated.thanks

you need to supervise them playing until the pup is durable enough to take whatever the 10 month old dishes out ....... a 10 month old dog can cause a 10 week old pup permanent harm ....... they don't know better ...

Agree. Supervise. Everything. I'd also take the leash off.

The video looks pretty good - balanced, no stomping or 'trampling' that I see.

I agree with taking off the leash. If the play gets to be too excited and you get worried, step in between them and send them "to their corners" (like in a boxing ring) to calm down and catch their breath. They'll start to understand why you step in, and should keep things below that level more and more frequently.

Make sure you address both the older dog and the puppy when things get overexcited - they both need to know what the limits on 'acceptable' play are - and YOU get to set those limits to YOUR comfort level, not theirs.
