hello i have a 9 week old male corso he dosen't like to walk on the pavement or street surfaces but has no problem walking on grass is this a tipical behavior or will this become a problem later

Probably lack of experiences is the issue, my CC puppy was well socialized by the breeder when i got her at 2 months, and there were really few things that would scary her.
Hopefully she will get used to it soon, try to build up her confidence slowly, but before the puppy gets too old.
Probably she had only walked on grass until you got her, thats all

I agree with Araps - one of the things I read in training books was to take your dog out early and let them walk over all sorts of surfaces. We went to the local playground for areas of bark and pebbles - and even the suspended plank walkway on the kiddie big toy. We had a previous dog that was deathly afraid of moving walkways... and heights... so we're trying to prevent that early, this time.

Use your big happy voice and lots of treats!
I love helping puppies investigate new stuff...
