so we have a GD,CC,GSD and a 2 cats,
my hasband always loved big!!!, active, protective types of dogs so when we get a dane lol well he wasnt to happy about that but its cool know

The 2 boerboels that I have met were very cautious & leery of strangers & other dogs. I'd definitely make sure the other dogs' training is top notch before adding a boerboel to the mix.

Have you been looking at breeders? I know Ang has been looking into Boerboels and brad has one I believe.
They may be able to help you out :)
That seems to be a lot of dog in the house. What are you planning on doing with him/her/them? I mean are you doing any training or advanced training?
To be honest, I know your CC is under one, I would put off getting another dog, especially another dominant breed until your Corso matures a little. You still haven't reached adolescents and they can be tough. The teen years are sssoooo much fun.

I haven't found that. Older dogs are way more tolerant of puppies.
Personally I wouldn't purchase multiple dogs under 1, I prefer to work with my dogs and develop a strong OB foundation before adding another. This helps the younger pack member I have found. But that is just me. It iis different if one is breeding and set up for multiple dogs. I also don't have the time I would want/need to do what I want to do with my dogs with many young ones. What with life, kids, work and I spend a good hour each day with each dog doing training and not to mention walks. Besides, 1 teenage jerk face CC is enough for me at a time.
But of course to each their own. :)
Brad is on this forum, he had CO's, CC and BB.
Ang is Oak Hill Farm, she has been researching getting a BB for a while.

I have a 7 month BB and she is very protective. She was introduced to my family of 2 RottChows 10 and 11 years old and she was 10 weeks and she protects them like they are her little brothers. I have had dogs all my life and introduced young to young and young to old. I found that young to old was easier but young to young produced a tight pack with a great alpha order. The young to old was hard to pack as the young dogs get strong and want to dominate or take position over the older dogs. You just need to make sure you promote your alpha at all times then the others will fall in line. (And know I don't believe the human is the alpha) we are above that and the dog must know it. BBs are very dominant and very protective the best breed I have ever known.
