I found the swollen lymph nodes this morning in his neck. They are a little smaller than a golf ball. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow.

I researched it online and I'm hoping it's an infection.

Please send lots of healing vibes his way!

Thank you!

Awww!! Poor Titan. I know when I feel bad, if I whine enough, I get belly rubs. Just an FYI for our boy.

Get well soon!

Thank you all for the good vibes. I'm devastated but trying not to stress out around him. He's not acting differently. He just played with me throwing his little toy and he brings it back to me. He's eating, we walked twice today but I have noticed he's drinking more than usual. But it's been hot the last couple of day.

I researched swollen lymph nodes and I shouldn't have. :(

Deb, don't worry. Yes, there are some nasty things that can cause swollen nodes but more often than not it is just a low grade infection. I think you would be surprised at how often they are swollen, we just usually don't know it.

Big hugs for you and sugars for Titan.

Yes you shoudln't have. THere's a bunch of BAD things that swollen lymph nodes can mean, but there's also a bunch of minor things they can mean too, and those never get any airtime.

Thanks everyone for the great words of encouragement. We went to the vet and he said he believes it to be an infection. Starting on cephalexin and told me to start ear drops since his ears are a little red. He said if the lymph nodes double in size to bring him back or if they do not go away within 10 days-14 days after antibiotic and it probably is lymphoma sarcoma but he really doubted it. Phew!!!!!

See what great healing vibes do! Thanks all!
