We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
I'm also switching to TOTW. We were looking for something chicken and grain free. The link will take you to the breakdown of the types, etc. There are a lot on here who seem to feed that from what I've read . Hopefully it's a good choice for your pack and mine
Windsor is on his second bag of TOTW-the lamb one. He loves it! I'm hoping it'll help with his allergies! It's about $10 cheaper than Earthborn (which he was on before) so that's a bonus. Keep us posted on how/if you like it!
Because dogs that are allergic to chicken and such in dog food are rarely allergic to actual chicken. Magnum is allergic to grain, Poultry, chicken and stuff in dog food but can eat cooked chicken without issue.
It does make me wonder what they DO to that chicken "product" that goes into kibble to make it so unrecognizable by the canine digestive system.... very odd indeed, I agree.
Oh that stuff they call chicken in dog food is some very scary stuff. They pretty much just use whole chickens that they throw in a grinder. Some of the fowl is still covered in feces and mud and some are drop chickens, (found dead of unknown causes) and they just chuck them in the grinder too.
I use TOTW Bison I think now and we don't have the gas issues. But I feed more raw than I do kibble.
