So it's been awhile since I've been through puppy hood, and I like to enjoy those breakthrough moments in a pups life. You know, the ones that show they are maturing.
These are my moments.
They arrive. Yaaaay
They pee on the floor. Noooo
They wake you up in the middle of the night. Nooo
They sleep through the night. Mostly. Yaaaay
They learn to signal you to go outside. Yaaaay
They're nervous to go down stairs. Carry me! Awww
They're nervous to go up stairs. Carry me! Awww
They're still nervous of the stairs.. Carry me!... Ugh
They do stairs one at a time! Wait for me! Awww
He squats when he pees... Ehh he's young
He lifts his leg, a little, when he pees. Hey Joe! Check my manly dog out!
They do one stair at a time at a decent pace. Yaaaay
They run around the house with a squeaky monkey. Squeeeeky away. Awww
They run around the house with a squeaky monkey. Squeeeeky away. .....

They climb on the couch! Awww
They climb on the couch and eat the remote control. Hey!
They learn the word down. Yaaaay
They learn that daddy will say down a couple of time and they will do it. Yaaaay
They learn mommy will say down a billion times and they don't have to listen until daddy comes and gets them. Yaaaay... for daddy being boss
They find the amazingly refreshing toilet, but are too little to drink out of it. Yaaaay?
They finally get tall enough to drink from amazingly, refreshing and always full toilet. Yaaaaay, ewwww. When daddy is trying to pee. Gah! No! Honey! And still when daddy is having to wash their head because they were faster than daddy...
They are doing one step at a time faster enough to trip you. Yaaaay, ouuuch.
They think they are the $hit because they can do one step at a time quickly, and then they wipe out. I told you!
They snuggle up with you on the couch. Awww
They try to snuggle with you in bed, but can't reach. Awwww
They try to snuggle up with you in bed, but can't reach, and tear the sheets trying to... sigh
They finally can get on the bed, with time, but still wreck the sheets. Awww, no! sigh. Come on, let me help you. Awwww
Daddy lets them take a nap on the bed with daddy because mommy doesn't like puppy in bed. Awwww
They don't understand that mommy doesn't like them in the bed and they get in bed with mommy when daddy takes a shower in the morning. Oops! But he's so sweet, baby, maybe just a little longer?
They learn mommy can be meaner than some dogs in the park when it's early...
And today.
They learn the higher you lift your leg, the more area you can mark, even if you fall and get pee all over yourself.
