Thanks for posting the video. Puts my mind at ease knowing that I say it right(now anyways). Although I do still pronounce it KANE corso when talking to people who aren't familiar with it because they have no clue what I'm talking about otherwise lol!

Laura I do the same thing. I informed my mom of how to say it the other day bc she thought it was kane too.

I rescued dogs for years. I did all the paperwork to be a 501 c 3 and fostered countless dogs. I was shocked the first time I got a puppy that hadn't been taught bad habits and allowed bad behavior. Rehabilitation is by far more time consuming than training. It's so sad that someone creates these issues and just pawns them off on someone else. The whole bs about rehoming fees really lights a fire under my backside. I could see it from a if you can't afford the fee, than you can't afford to feed a mastiff point of view, but I would rather require them to sign a contract than pay a fee. Needless to say I do not rescue any longer. I will buy my lovely, papered, puppies and know their training is right from the jump. I do still respect the lovely people that are willing to put in the work though. Rescue is hard, expensive, and your house is usually a casualty.

That person is only looking at profit. Nothing more. Unfortuantely it's the dog who has suffered through all of this. "Re-homing fee"? If they had provided a good environment for the dog in the first place, it would not have come to this. IMO Irresponsible stewardship is the #1 reason why there are so many animals lost through the system. I hope that dog finds a new owner soon that can provide the proper environment it deserves!
