The puppies are here

Just precious! WWIII just erupted at our house. I want one so much but Debra, the more sensible one, says there is already not enough room on the bed for her, between us and over 300 pounds of dog. I'm sure I will lose the battle, but I like what you are doing with your kennel.

YAY! They are lovely! Huge congrats!
Hope you and momma are doing well!
I am sooo jealous. Can't wait to see them as they grow and find out who is the baby daddy of each!
Will be cool to see the difference.
When is the DNA testing done?

Congrats on the puppies. They are adorable! I found this the easy stage... once they get walking it was rough :) They are into everything which is great but also a pain. I guess what I am saying is take advantage of the time when mama wants to take care of them all herself. I hope that you are all doing well and look forward to watching them grow. I am interested to hear the process for the DNA testing and when you perform the test, we have looked at this in the past and discussed as possibilities for the future.

MaMa is doing good, she can never be alone with them so I have to be there to put them on her to feed every 3 hours, I was making them pee and poop but this morning she showed
interest and started licking them herself.
I ordered the DNA test kits this morning they should be here in a few days will get them sent in right away then it takes
6-8 weeks to get the results back.
She is such a good mama for her first litter, my friend in Mi. just had a litter of 11 the mama wants to eat them so she is having
to tube feed all of them. I am lucky.

Yeah we were lucky that Danae was a great mother to the pups as well... for the first week I pretty much didn't have to do anything as she wanted to do it all. She let me handle them but she wanted to be there at all times. Was a pain to even get her to go out for a pee. Glad they are doing well, momma and babies and I feel for your friend it can't be easy to tube feed 11 pups :(

Wish they stayed with those stripes

I remember thinking that when they were puppies but it doesn't take long for those stripes to start disappearing once they started to fill out their skin. We actually thought we had one sold blue after they started to grow and one blue brindle but one started to brindle at 8 weeks :)
