The battle of the bone

I believe there is an unknown law of physics in which only one “good” and desirable bone can exist in any household. A household may have many bones but only one will be desirable.

This morning Kahlua and Diesel had a battle over the one”good” bone. Diesel had it after tricking Kahlua to give it up after bringing a toy over to her. It took a few minutes to realize she had been tricked but once she figured out she had lost her bone she had her own trick.

She approached Diesel and licked his genitals and he then willingly gave her the bone.

Sean and I couldnt stop laughing.

If axel has the good toy and Cora wants it, she will bark and run to the door like someone is here and he will obviously follow her. Then she runs back in really fast and grabs the toy. It’s genius. Works every time.

Both of mine have learnt to do that to each other. What's really funny is when the second dog grabs the toy/bone/whatever before running to see what's going on and the first one goes running to get it and then looks very confused as to why it didn't work.

Haha exactly! Kahlua would always take it with her if he tried the run to see what is over there trick. Diesel found that the trick that works with Kahlua is to grab a different toy and make it look super fun. You can practically here him saying "Look how fun this squeaky toy is. This is way better then your dumb old bone." The second Kahlua goes to take it from him he lets her have it and runs to grab her abandoned bone.

Kahlua's new genital licking trick is the one that surprised us. I have never seen her use that tactic to get Diesel to give up the coveted bone. We saw her do that and Sean was like "Kahlua is a $#@%!" And I was like "No Diesel is an easy mark." His response was "Well I can't blame him." We had a good laugh about it.
