Well, after seeing some puppy pics of TM on this site--I can tell you she is not as 'heavy boned' as your purebreds--but she is heavier boned than most female rotties.
I do not have issues getting her to eat, but I have had probs keeping weight eeven though she is gaining--with her feeling too skinny in the bum/hip area.
Her rear has to catch up to her front, that seems to be the way she grows--except that tail shot out of nowhere-almost over night, it did curl more before. She has wavy fur on her tail & a curly Q right at the tip.
She looked so huge when I 1st got her-due to all of that puppy fluff-but I couldn't feel fat pads on her spine/hips, so I went through a bunch of dog foods, I feed her 3x dat thru the week & 4x day on weekends.
Had her on solid gold wolf king, but had to buy sg wolf cub last week because store was out-am gonna switch back to wolf king or maybe orijen.
She has blown her puppy coat, it is now more similar to a longer rottie fur with a super shiny sheen, though it doesn't feel like rottie hair-it still feels more like fur--much softer.
