We're expanding the fenced dog area this month. Fence poles are in, now the chain link panels are going up and we're discovering just how well we measured the spaces between the poles......
At some point in the near future we need to get gutters on the house.....
Yah, landscaping has been a constant project. The former owners kept it perfectly groomed.....but had done almost no actual landscaping. We don't generally manage to keep it quite so well groomed, but the lanscaping is starting to look decent!
And yah, our kitchen and bathrooms are needing updating. The appliances are new at least but thats about all you can say for it! Everything works at least though, so thats going to wait till AFTER we get the gutters in and fix the water around the foundation problems!
The landscaping or the gutters lol. To late to get true before pictures for most the landscaping
I just finished making these today:

I think the next thing on my list is a gate on the front porch because I'm starting to get paranoid about Athena escaping. Not that she's ever tried. She's just been starting to think she's a Fila as she gets older.

Broc, don't bet on them not figuring out "pull", Apollo noses the latch on ours, he hasn't QUITE figured out the steps to open it, but the concept is definetly there! I wonder if I can add a spring latch to ours.....
We paid someone else to do the fence. I'm just not that into digging post holes in our rocky soil.
Why is there concrete in the ground?
Hector, for 6' chainlink the standard is 8' poles sunk 2' into the ground.
Broc, Apollo doesn't "spend time" out there, but we go in and out that door alot.....
