Who knows where someone may be lurking in a dark room with only the glow of their computer illuminating the room surrounded only by their large dogs half full ashtray and empty wine bottles.

Nik, I think you should post some pics of Cerberus, I love standard poodles.

Nik, we've had toy poodles but I had always intended on getting a standard. However, the area we live in started getting pretty bad. I felt we needed to get a bigger more imposing dog. Now, I can't see ever owning anything but mastiffs. I still think they are one of the best breeds out there.

Thanks for pics. He is a cutie.

Thanks angelbears! He is truly a fantastic dog. Very sweet, mellow and gentle with everyone and everything. Definitely not in any way a gaurd dog though. He was easy and quick to train but Diesel seems to be smarter. He has a higher level of comprehension. He is harder to train though because he is more stubborn, higher energy and easily distracted. Cerberus has great focus and super high treat drive so it made him a pretty easy dog. Two very different dogs but they both are amazing dogs with great personalities <3

My inlaws had a standard poodle a black female named Misty.
Misty was a great dog and loved to run.
My kids use to take her out on a leash with their skateboards and she would tow them for hours.
There was no quit in that dog.

Lol my poodle is a go with the flow kind of dog and always has been. If we want to hike he goes but if we want to get in front of the TV all day he has always been content with that also. As a young dog he did get the zoomies once a day at dusk and absolutely had to run back and forth over and over and nothing could stop him from doing it. He aged out of that though.
