Lol. I have 2 pugs. A cricket can fart next door and I get to hear all about it. If I wake up to them barking I look at my Boerboel. If she doesn't care, I don't care and go back to sleep.

I have a boerboel too.
Used to have a rottweiler - if he barked in the night I took no notice at all - becasue if he couldn't handle the situation, I was pretty sure I wouldnt be able to either!

what did you decide on? Filas do not do well a outside dogs. they are very attached to their families. have had them in my home with my kids for years. also have had them for over 20yrs and with proper ownership, they have yet to kill anyone.
