I have to say, I was a little put off by the introduction, and using medication as a First Line of Treatment, Especially Xanax?! (I would not give that to my human family.) I feel through behaviour modification/ training/ desensitization you can achieve the goals you are looking for. (I guess it comes down to the severity of the problem?)

The food games seem like a good idea. But, do you find it is more of a Bribe than a Reinforcement?

I did like the section of the Article "Parting Thoughts" towards the end.

i agree , it's a completely solvable , and avoidable problem without drugs ........ reminds me of what we do to our kids nowadays ..............
