I know the thread has been dormant, but I thought I would share what work for me.
We have cat fleas in Central Arkansas that are frontline and advantage resistant. They also laugh at foggers, powders, and collars. Shampoos kill them, but chemical baths every other day to control them would not be good for a pet. This situation left my family infested with fleas. We all had them, then we found capstar. Its a pill that will kill fleas for 30 days, although it cannot be used on cats. We turned our 4 dogs into flea traps. Its fast acting like Capstar so we treated the dogs with Comfortis and the cats with Capstar to kill the fleas on the animals. Now if the fleas get on one of the dogs roaming the house to feed they die. This has solved our flea problem completely.
It works so fast its almost magic. A home can go from unlivable and infested to kids playing safely on the floor in 48 hours.
