How tall are mastiffs typically around the 8 month old range? Only reason I ask is Hank is about 25 inches at the withers. I didn't know if this was the norm.

It just depends. Some grow taller and some grow heavier early on. Our pup was 25 inches around 6.5 months and had a 2 inch jump at 7 months

It also depends on how tall he is going to end up too. Just like with weight the final outcome varies so much that there isn't a normal or average really.

Thanks. I'm guessing he's in for a growth spurt since the back end is a bit taller than the front end

My boy, also named Hank, Was like a lil rolly polly while he was growing. My girl Roxy, she is so long and skinny. I love the stages when their lil butts are taller than their shoulders they are so cute!

Hank's first puppy, his name is Jack, he grew out fairly evenly throughout. I really just think it comes down to the individual pup.

Despite Hank being a lil chunker as a puppy, and Jack gowing seemingly more "normal", they are both really close to build and Physique. Jack has a little more filling out to do though, he's still an impressive boy.
